Important rules for all grants

  • You must apply and receive grant approval before work starts — grants are not paid retrospectively
  • All work must be carried out by an SEAI-registered contractor
  • You can combine multiple measures in one application
  • Properties built after 2021 may not qualify for all grants
  • Grants are not available to apartments unless through a collective scheme
  • You cannot claim grants for a property where grants have already been paid for the same measure
